Folio's Reading Journey

You are Folio — curious about cultural heritage, and about what it costs to keep it. Somewhere to the right there is something you want to read, and four decisions between you and it. Where the road forks, the road you take is your answer; where a wall of doors blocks the way, step through the one you choose.

At the end you arrive in the world your decisions built, and see the life-cycle emissions of that single act of reading — set against every other way of reading the same thing, at the British Library, the KB or the Swiss National Library.

Decision 1What do you want to read?
Decision 2On paper, or on a screen?
Decision 3How you travel — or which device
Decision 4How long you read
⚠️Mock-up — no real data yet. Every emission figure in this prototype is a placeholder chosen only to make the mechanics work. They are not ReVerDi results and must not be quoted, screenshotted or shared as findings. The real life-cycle values will replace them once the assessment is complete.
